Let’s Grow Grant Funds Available
The Let’s Grow Committee is announcing the availability of its fourth-round of funding for Let’s Grow grants. Grant proposals are due on or before Nov. 15.
Up to $325,000 is available in this round of funding for projects to support, promote and ensure the U.S. sheep industry’s future through the development of innovative and sustainable initiatives that increase the productivity, profitability and growth of the American sheep industry. Producers are encouraged to submit proposals that meet the guidelines of the committee as it intends to increase sheep industry production efficiency and profitability in an attempt to compete with not only imported lamb and wool products but with other domestic livestock production, as well.
“We are excited to offer this next round of grants,” said ASI Let’s Grow Committee Chair Susan Shultz (Ohio). “The committee has been fortunate to see many inventive ideas for sustaining and improving the industry and we look forward to the opportunity to review the next round of grants.”
