Lamb Chops Draw Crowd

American lamb chops were at the center of the plate for the 2012 American Lamb Barbecue held in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday evening.
“I come to this event because of the lamb and, this year, the chops are bigger than I have ever seen them,” commented attendees.
As tradition has it, Rick and Larry Meyers, Meyers and Associates, took charge of the grills to prepare the lamb that was generously donated by JBS Swift.
Honored guests included Edward Avalos, under secretary for the U.S. Department of Agriculture along with staff from dozens of congressional offices.
